This policy covers the chuilearn.com website and the launch list. The privacy policy for the Chui Learn app will be published on this same page before launch.
Who is responsible
The data controller is ICIVA TECHNOLOGY, C.A. (RIF J-50142968-5), based in Venezuela. You can write to [contact email] with any question about your data.
What data we handle
If you join the list we store this, and nothing else:
- your email address;
- the language of the site you joined from (Spanish or English);
- the exact text you agreed to and when you agreed to it;
- whether you have confirmed your email, and when we last emailed you;
- confirmation and unsubscribe codes, stored only in hashed form.
We don’t ask for your name or anything else. The site uses no cookies. To know how many people visit it we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate (pages viewed, country, device type) without cookies, without identifying you and without tracking you across sites. To check that sign-ups aren’t bots we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which only loads once you start using the form and processes technical data from your browser and your IP address for that check. We don’t store your IP address on the list.
What we use it for
To send you the confirmation email, tell you about Chui’s launch and share news about Chui, which is what you agree to when you tick the box. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data or share it for third-party marketing. Only these providers work with it, to run the list:
- Supabase: stores the list.
- Resend: sends the emails.
- Cloudflare: hosts the site (Cloudflare Pages), counts visits without cookies (Web Analytics) and checks you aren’t a bot (Turnstile). It records technical visit data, such as IP, in its server logs.
These providers run infrastructure in several countries, including the United States, so your data may be processed outside your country. The list is stored on Supabase servers in Oregon, United States.
How long we keep it
- If you don’t confirm your email, we delete it after 30 days.
- If you confirm it, we keep it while you stay on the list.
- If you unsubscribe, we delete your record entirely.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, request portability or withdraw your consent by writing to [contact email]. To unsubscribe, the link in every email is enough. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
The list is not aimed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date above. If the change is significant, we’ll email you first.
